Tathagata

In the land of radiant virtue

Will come days of darkness and rage

Brother against brother

Sister against sister

And the false profit will hold up

A holy book

Among the teargas and cries

And somewhere someone

Will step forward

And they will be black

And they will be called

Radiance Tathagata

One worthy of offerings

Truly awakened

Teacher of heavenly beings

And people

Saying to the troops

Gone, Gone, and thus

They will be Gone!

And as he says this

He holds up the lotus flower

And all the soldiers

Turn

To face their true enemy

The one behind the

Gates

And the land will be free

Of thorns and thistles

And it’s filthy toilet waste

And the ground will be

Lapis lazuli and all around

Will be jewelled trees

And the earth will

Let out it’s sorrowful sigh

Till only the silence

Of peace remains.
